Heya folks
can some one tell me how to remove the steering wheel.
It has two spokes
From behind there are no screws but two little nipple looking things with a small gap between.
Do you squeeze them together while pulling the pad off....not sure and don't want to break anything

steering wheel removal 92 Brumby
Hey Peter,
Assuming the Brumby is same as L Series:
Gently pry the horn cover off the wheel. Its not bolted/screwed in. The will be a single small wire connecting to the back of it. Unplug that and set aside.
The wheel itself is held on by the large 14mm? Nut on splined steering column.
Undo the nut and remove the washers underneath. Put nut back on so the threads are just flush with the top of the column. Ie so that the nut is not all the way down/tight but securely on the column.
Now starting with hands 9 and 3, firmly but slowly pull with left and right hands, alternating. The nut on the column will prevent the wheel hitting you in the face. Some wheels can be on TIGHT. So considerable force may be required.
I had one a few years back that I was scared of breaking something it was so tight. However u have never heard of anyone ever doing any damage.
Good luck and let us know how you go.
