98 Liberty heater stuck on,

Hi guys, just joined , bought 98 Bilstein limited edition Liberty . This car has come with a few issues , the heater is stuck in the on position which is not good at this time of year, any ideas how to get it to turn off, all help appreciated cheers Ryno

Hi and Welcome Ryno :)

From memory the 98 Liberty you have comes with electronic climate control? these head units had some issues with solder joints inside. I would try another head unit from someone else and see if it fixes it.

BTW.. the heater is always on, there is a flap in the heater box that stops the air flowing passed the heater core. Make sure the control unit on the side of the heater box is plugged in. Can't remember which side (driver or passenger) but have a look at both sides.
