Fixing auto box on L series wagon

Post by mtopxsecret6 » Wed Aug 16, 2006 9:07 pm

Hello, the auto box has played up on me today. It has dropped all my tranny fluid all over the ground. So, im assuming it has done a seal of some sort, cause when you put fluid into it, it drive fine again, then it all pisses out again. How hoard is it to fix? Does anyone know of any good workshops in brisbane that can fix it? Thanks.

the subaru shop is good and they know just about everything but it wont be cheap...no one will be cheap to fix it...need to be pulled appart totally to fix....best is to buy a good second hand one but even then a good tested one from sunspares will set you back around 3 to 400 from when i last spoke to them as i had an auto do the same thing
