STI seats in a GD WRX

Hi Fellas,

I have an 06 WRX that has had the original interior removed and an STI set installed.
The WRX had airbags in the seats and I think maybe an occupancy sensor for the front passenger.
This was all done before I got the car, IT has an SRS fault light on the dash all the time.
The car has to go over the pits.

Options as I see it are replace the front seats with original units, even if not WRX trim.
or
Install airbag emulators, basically resisters to trick the vehicle to think it has seat airbags installed.

any experience out there on this ?

I don’t have any experience in this but the two avenues you name is what I’d be looking at too.
