Noisy reed valve?

Post by Newsoob » Mon Mar 05, 2007 8:00 pm

G'day,
Have 1990 L series 4x4 wagon that seems to have a very noisy ?reed valve (not sure if this is what its called). Seems to me like an exhaust noise but have been told that it is this valve. Can they be replaced/repaired?, is it common?
Also if I was to replace the coil springs on this car what type and model would give me a slight body lift. Can this be done without going to the full body/suspension lift thing.
Thanks Newsoob.

There isn't a reed valve on the exhaust so I have no idea what the noise could be , with the springs you can get king springs but they can affect your cv angle.
