Forester frontal protection

Post by BRUMBERTY » Sat Nov 26, 2005 10:32 am

My beautiful girlfriend Sascha is trading her Current wheels (daewooooo)
for a new Forester.
:P :D
You can't argue with class leading crash ratings and groung clearance.

Anyone who has driven down the Freycinet Peninsular (or in Tassie anywhere) will know that we have more than our fair share of roos and wombats.
Sascha travels 120kms per day and has hit 3 wallabies already this year.
Woo versus Roo- korean plastic bumpers only flex so much, so many times.
It won't handle another hit.

What Bullbars are available to fit a Forester-
Nothing outrageous, no B&S 5 posters, something flush fitting and stylish.

Who's got what? and what are they worth?
How do they affect airbag deployment?
Warranties?

More subies in the family for us, YAY.
1989 Subaru WonderBrumby II
EJ22 Dual range AWD lifted, widened and much happier now thanks very much.

1991 L Series wagon, white and perfectly normal apart from the ticking, no I think that is normal.

Jet boat..webbered EA81 with a hybrid tin dish welded and glued to it.

Speak to the people at http://www.offroadsubarus.com as the users there mainly have Foresters or Outbacks.

They'll be able to show you some different designs and also places to get them!

Subaxtreme is the place to get one. I am not sure of their url. Some one here will be able to post it up for you. You won't find a better bar in my opinion. They are also air bag compliant.
