figure if I spend 2-3 hrs a weekend on it then by early may I should be able to drive it out.
need shorter rear brake lines. when I had the rears done I got 13" long braided items and I needed 5" ones. found this out AFTER I reassembled the rear end.

still have to drop the trans out of it to get the TC back in. I'll pay someone to do put the TC back in as I cannot get it back in place..(that will teach me to split it..)

This is one impressive beast. I would love to see it in the flesh. We should be travelling through your neck of the woods around xmas on our way from Darwin to Canberra on posting. If you're up for a visitor, I'd love to have a look (and if it's on the road, get a ride!)

Cheers,
Willie.

Bit of an understatement i'd imagine. Those white mags really set off the L's shape too...

ta!

still working on it - rear end went to driveline today to get sorted out as did the front shafts- looks like there is going to be a bit of mazda in this as well as the inners are different to the FWD shafts I have. 30spline vs 22.

the joys of building something different.

the rack and drivers side is together now - need to replace bearings in the passenger front (who in brisbane can do this??) as they were damaged when the axle was removed. from there I can put it back together as well.

Mate you gotta be proud even if its not 100% finished. It really looks the part and unless you knew what was under the bonnet wouldn't know that it could go as well as it looks.

Beautiful, if only subaru produced an impeza that looked as good as this does...
