Best time of my life. Wollogorang is fantastic! I have been home for under 24 hours and I wish I was back there already.
A HUGE thanks to our hosts, Stuart, Mary-anne and Jim. Bush hospitality is alive and well with these people. We were put up in their now closed motel while we were there, we were fed until we couldn't eat any more, shown around the property by land and air and treated like family. Awesome. We learnt more about a cattle station and life in the bush more in the short time we were there than could be in a year at an agricultural college.
We managed to catch a few fish, stick a few critters with our bows and had the time of our lives while doing it. We were privileged to stay on the banks of one of the creeks in the bush which no other paying guest has ever been aloud to to do. Words can't do this place justice.
The country ranges from lush bushland to, sandy dunes to arid plains, to swamp land, to salt beds, to scrub so thick you can only get through it with a machete or Subaru with bullbar.
I will do up a decent trip run down on it today some time.
Pics. It is the only way to partly describe the fun we had. We have over 1000 photos from the trip.
