We saw lots of crocs, but I didn't get my boots. Looks like I will have to buy them. The crocs ranged from babies to big dadda's. Saw a few snakes, and they were way to close for my liking. :???:

Woops this was by Subiwidow....I was on Bretts page.

Its not even a dangerous one. Don't worry. I gave it a good poke to see if it was alive. Gave a little wriggle then I noticed its head was a little squashed. Apparent its called a Black headed python or Aspidites melanocephalus

"Egg laying . Not dangerous to humans. Mainly nocturnal, feeds on small mammals, ground birds and reptiles, including venomous snakes. This python is found in the northeren half of australia. When cornered this snake will hiss a lot and raise it's head, but is rare to bite. Average length 1.5 metres, aproximate maximum length 2.5 metres" off some snake website

I am doing up a trip report and don't want to have to type it twice. Put simply both autos **** themselves. Still unpacking and cleaning things. More later.

I was just checking out the weather when we were up there.. He had the Hottest and wettest dats of the moth. We missed the coldest by 2 days.

http://www.eldersweather.com.au/dailysu ... e&lc=14707

Car made it home today, god damm its dirtier then I remember. A few days earlier than expected. Wilber saw it go past his work before we knew about it. (He doesn't do much work in that office) Brett has had a quick look, tightened a few things, cleaned a few things. Hopegully its not going to need a full replacement gear box. He will probably say it will just to get another manual.

Jake was just glad to get his pigs skull back. :-D
