Engine maintainence/seals

I'm going to have the engine out of my car soon, just wondering what I should be checking while it's out?
Also I'm wanting to replace a few seals to fix some developing leaks, what other seals should I replace at the same time?

So basically, what do I do now to make sure nothing goes wrong later? Engine is an EJ20G with 140,000kms.
