Powerlines Sunday 7th Oct

Post by Subafury » Wed Oct 03, 2007 12:43 am

Myself, Alex, 4muff and hopefully AndrewT will be doing the powerlines BACKWARDS on sunday. let us know if you wanna come down for a trip. lift kit not necessary but you will get some underbody bruises. apparently its quite slippery so it may be a challenge for some.

we will probably meet at the usual spot- next to red rooster/caltex in midvale cnr farrall rd and gt eastern highway. at say 10am.

I will be going for sure!

Just to clarify....by BACKWARDS, Matt means we will be doing the track in the opposite way than normal. East to West rather than West to East.
NOT entirely in reverse gear (although that would be fun to try one day!).

I have to say that I am very interested… we have talked about this several times however not done anything about it.

Unfortunately though Bathurst wkd only comes around once a year so I’ll be out for this trip.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

mmm sorta forgot about bathurst. ah well ill record it. subaru takes preference to holden or ford. id love to try it in reverse gear though - already suggested this to alex hahah. my current box wouldnt last longtho.

maybe do it the week after aswell. there's always a different route to try out.
