New Toy: my second two seater japanese vehicle

Post by subgiraffe » Thu Jan 10, 2008 12:23 am

OK OK ... it's not a subaru :( but Subaru don't make anything like this....

This has been a childhood dream - two door, topless RED sportscar. 2.0L RWD LSD and soooo fun when you turn off the traction control :D

Sticky tyres and head for the nearest hills. ;)

It'll be a slightly different drive to the Brumby, but just as much of a hoot.

needs lift to make it easier to get in and out of!!

it is great fun - had the roof down on the highway last night and wound her up a bit :D :D then i took the impreza out for a run, felt rather stately!

I am amazed at how much torque there is throughout the rev range- it pulls reasonably well from 60 in 6th!

PeeJay - we thought about it for ages, then went for a test drive -- that was the end, had to order one then and there. if you like good sound, the Bose system is amazing!

I beleive you can buy branded turbo kits to bolt onto these, very tried and tested and supposedly a massive power improvement. Brings them abit closer to Mazda's real sportscars the RX-7s!
Congrats on a great looking vehicle :) Always been a fan.
