Ok, small up date , First coat of paint is on. A few blemishes to fix before next coat. A run and a couple of silicone spots. Other than that , a ok.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Im now all grown up to an outback with a 2" lift and outback struts, ready to go off road and take on the world.
Since it is wet for the next week , which means we cant lay down the next coats of paint , so we have to find other things to do. Cleaned back the headlight mounts and gave them a coat of kill rust black.
Also the steering wheel turned up. It is taking all my will power not to put it on my car.

The motor is back after a full reco on it . Once the paint is on, it should be one of the next items to go in.

I am a new member to this site and just came across this thread and read it from the start. I liked the comment of "not tradesmen to do anything with cars" or words to that effect. You two guys would make most tradesmen whimper with the sight of that car. Seeing this thread really make you proud to own a Subaru............ and ashamed of the condition of mine at the same time. If I wasn't sitting under 5000 sandbags in the middle of Baghdad i'd have to drive up there and take a look in person.
Awesome job lads keep up the good work.
EDIT* Pimp my Ride - Gympie Style.
Cheers Chris

Wow thanks Steve for finally one of you has recognised all the work us girls do too. If it wasn't for us you'd all pass out from dehydration & starvation lol.
Since it is so wet at the moment the boys are going to do some maintenance on our own Subie's. New clutch going in, cv's getting a clean up & so on. So the boys have plenty to keep them going. Of course they could do some work on my car but no its not a Subie its a Tarago so its way out the door. HA HA boys gotcha.
Thanks again Steve for mentioning the huge support crew you three buys have got.

What year tarago have you got? I've got an old tarago that's due to go to the wreckers, if it's any good for you guys you could probably pick it up for a song. It's an Auto probably late 80's or early '90s, don't know much more off the top of my head.Of course they could do some work on my car but no its not a Subie its a Tarago so its way out the door.
