bloody yellow stickers

Post by jimbrat » Mon Jun 02, 2008 4:36 pm

just posting to vent some anger. was driving along yesteday and the police decided to yellow sticker my brumby. The car has a ej20t awd and a few other mods. The copper said the yellow was for no front bumper, which i have at home, just hadn't fitted. Also horn not working. I assume other wa members have had sticker issues before so i was just after advice. To get the engine engineered is there anywere people would recommend? Also will i have to upgrade the brakes? Any advice on getting over the pits would be appreciated. Thanks

Some are getting it over without any engineer stuff. I would put the bumper on... make sure it all looks neat and take it over and see what they say.

Yeah, you don't need it to be engineered, just take it over and see what happens. Choose a busy day, it's worth the wait because they will rush you through when it's your turn.

I think what the guy that had the car before me had done was put the outer drum casing of a honda civic (not sure what year) on the car. That was what he said. He has also used hub assembley parts of a honda for the front. This meant that more common 4 stud pattern wheels would fit. I could be totally wrong and am happy to be corrected. The guy that had the car before me had done many silly things so nothing would surprise me.
