Honest opinions on my sig

Post by BaronVonChickenPants » Tue Jan 24, 2006 6:08 pm

I know some people expressed dislike towards my last sig and there's been mixed opinions about my current one, just wanted to know exactly what it is you do or don't like about it.

Cheers,
Jordan.

It's ok, no offence taken, just requesting some constructive criticism to see if/how I can improve it.

All opinions considered.

I think it's the second best sig on the site. Sorry, but as I've said to you before Tim's is better 8)

Rock on to falshy changey signatures.

i think its fudgin ace!!! its funny. it serves as great reassurance to newer members who are shy in posting that we're in fact, fun loving guys and girls, instead of subaru loving forum nazis.

here's to flashy sigs....and to those that dont like flashy sigs - may you have an epileptic seizure!! (j/k. do as fang has, and disable them!)

two thumbs up here. i'd do one myself, but lost motivation to ;)

Flashy sig's are fine, but yours mite be pushing the size limit, i dont think we would want one any bigger

Ive thought of making a flashing sig, but i only have one working car to show

Each to their own, it doesn't bother me 8)

My only two problems with your sig pic Baron is that:

a) it's too small
b) it needs more frames, that is, more flashyness!!

Considering my small 3 framed sig though I can't criticise it. Love your work. Keep it coming! :D

Bigger? More frames and flashyness?

I was trying to avoid another 100kb monster.

Thanks for the comments guys, keep 'em coming

Muddy all ready suggested one similar to that but stating "WORLDS MOST IRRITATING SIGNATURE"

I just went to a diferent screen and my eyes took at least 30 seconds to recover from that.

It only takes a right Click and "Block Images from...."

Its a shame really,Jordan, cuz your sig is a fun thing to look at once, its very funny actually..........

but the flashing........now if it was only once on a page, well might cope....but if you have a few posts...eyes just get overwhelmed

Timcoupe one is good, informative too, maybe doesn't have the laughts but is slower....maybe you could try slowing down the flashing?

I agree I think slowing it down half a second per frame (can you do that???) would make a world of difference.

I've made it 2 seconds per frame, it was 1/2 second per frame before except the last 2 text frames were slower.

You may have to do a refresh to load the new one, ctrl + f5 in internot exploder or just f5 in firefox.

Yeah the smaller one.

I don't care what it does (except maybe that one of Smoov's) But when it is too large it drags all the text outside the screen with it.
Now THAT is annoying.

Yeah do the smaller one... damn that big one is starting to annoy me. Slow it down.. make it smaller.... do something... i got my res set so everything is rather small... though people with stuff set large would be going nuts.

Personally i think keeping it simple and slow is effective with a forum like this.

OK, I'm now using the smaller one, if you're still seeing the big one, do a refresh.
