Are you saying both the forester brackets 20520FC030/040 and the Outback brackets 20520AC030/040 are the same ?
If so it'd make them A LOT easier to get as the Outback items are only available from Japan (3 week wait) and forester items will be easier to find at wreckers.

I'm a happy boy aswell because after lots of ringing around I've finally found a set of Gen II OB brackets for $25 each from a Melbourne wrecker.
Car is almost finished too, well ok not finished but at least back in one piece, has new struts, springs, sway bar links and bushes, front control arm bushes, new ball joints, tie rod ends, front driveshafts. By this time next week the rear will have adjustable camber bolts and new poly bushes in everything (control arms, swaybar, trailing arms). Will have a full front/rear alignment done and some forester 16's too!
Should drive like a new one, absolutely hanging to start using it to get offroad/up the beach.

Nah, she's a Gen II and the mint/mid toned metallic green that's often seen on LX's. So I ordered some trailing arm brackets from a wreckers in Melb. Got the package and opened it up and they are the same brackets that were already on the wagon. The ones they sent me look the same as the one with the hole in the middle section in the pics. It's got BG7 (I think) written on the bottom.
So I can sort this out with the wrecker, can anyone tell me what model (letters) the outback is for 96-98 and does anyone have a pdf manual (or a picture ) for the outback so I know what I'm looking for?

They look like Liberty's mounts
The reason i can tell is the hole to bottom of the mount is short. I think outback ones are abt 70mm from bottom to the holes. I'll upload the pics tonight of what it looks like.

Sorry to raise this from the dead - is the only difference the distance from the chassis to the trailing arm pivot bolt? IE, is swapping these brackets the same as just putting a spacer block between the chassis and the stock bracket?
