I've seen a sticker on a ute similar to this:

"Yes it's my ute... No, I won't help you move house"

Gold!

Cheers

A black Jeep with the plates "Baa Baa" ......... (Baa Baa Black sheep).

Very clever I thought.

A mate was telling me yesterday at golf that when he travelling around Australia in his Winnebago he saw a Swagman with a trailer and a Suzuki Jimny onboard, the Jimny had the plates "oncea", the trailer was "Jolly" and the Swagman had plates with it's name on them.
He never said what State they were registered in.

Beautiful, I sat in one of those for the first time just last night, can't believe how close the ground is when you're in one :) Is that road legal or racing only?

Of course I did I'm not that daft  Just asked because of it being on the back of a trailer and without a windshield I thought it could have been a race car.

Nevermind

You can slap me, I can't see the number plate on it only a sticker on the side saying 057.
By the way, nice car, was it from a kit or did you buy it?

Cheers Cam

Thanks for the interest guys.

The car is a scratch build with quite a mixture of bits, TX Gemini front end and column, escort rack, Corolla 1.8L 1ZZFE, Supra gearbag, Forester turbo 4.1 LSD and an IRS based on AE86 Corolla front end.

The sticker was my entrant number for our nationals at Tanunda in November and also the associated hill climb at Collingrove that was unfortunately called off because of the total fireban, being a CAMS sanctioned and run event we had to have the firies and ambos present and they couldn't stay.

Currently on Vic club plates while I wait for the RMS ( RTA ) here in Sydney to finalise my rego which should happen by the end of January. The engineering report has been submitted along with the relevant blue slip and request for VIN paperwork and I am assured that the guy handling it has it as his first job when he returns from leave on the 9th.

As for performance, currently it is a bit slow because of the restrictive inlet and exhaust tracts and the emissions tune but with the track exhaust and pod filter I have seen 170 in 3rd on the track and it all happens very quickly.

I've not had it on the track on sticky tyres yet only crappy rock hard Pirelli's and still do fairly consistent 1:18 at Wakey, with a proper tune, R spec tyres
and a bit of tweaking of the ECU and shocks it should be quite a bit quicker.

107Kw in 640Kg with a 3.5Kg flywheel adds up to some fairly serious fun:mrgreen:

Sounds like a lotta fun

You could start your own thread in Restorations and build ups. It does after all have a Forester turbo 4.1 LSD...so what if it has all these other bits bolted to the Fozzy diff :p

A bit like this then http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OeRjb76 ... ature=plcp

The link worked for me at work using IE and at home using Firefox so not sure what the issue is, here is the URL for my Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/suthol?feature=watch copy and paste into the address bar of your browser.

All sorts of nonsense including many spins at Wakefield.

Did someone say yeehaa!

That looked like so much fun. Was it someone's private track? I've never done a hillclimb but if I ever have a car worthy again I certainly will. There's something bout going hard uphill that gets the adrenalin going yet feels safe, whereas going downhill my testicles shrink :(
