That slot is one of the main bits of the conversion that fixes the issue. The wider and longer the slot on both sides the easier it will clamp fully onto the selector shaft with the bolt.Silverbullet wrote:Somebody had done the old cut the tube to clamp down better trick, but looks like they gouged it out with a chisel!
