damm lifters
thanks El Freddo ill give the shim ago but which valve are you shiming the one in the top of cam housing behind banjo bolt or at the oil pump? started it this morning let it run for 15min no tick have not taken for a drive only idle and rev on the spot will give more feedback after test drive later today went to start car to go for test drive tick was instant and would not go away even after 5 min of just idle and lite reving ill give the shim ago on check valve and some more atf

At the oil pump - there's a bolt that faces diagonally to the ground in the direction of the passenger's side. Remove this and a long spring will come out with the plug device too. Find a shim, put plug and spring back in then the shim.
