What should I be doing for 100K Outback Service?

Hi all,

I'm looking to do the 100K service on my 2004 3 litre Outback. I've ordered the NGK platinum plugs from the USA ($97 for 6 delivered, as opposed to $24 each locally!) and I'll obviously also do the oil and oil filter, but what else should I be doing?

Fuel filter? Air Filter? Transmission fluid? Power Steering fluid? All of the above, none of the above? What else?

100k is the big service.

your car is a 6cylinder so you have a timing chain (which should last the life of the vehicle)

100k service involves replacing every fluid in the car. Even the rear diff. This is why subaru will charge well over $1000 for the service.

Just want to see I have everything covered:

Engine oil
Transmission fluid
Power steering fluid
Brake fluid
Diff oil

Anything I've missed? Should I flush the radiator fluid?

Yes you should flush the radiator, but I wouldnt worry about the power steering.

Yes.

You should be doing engine oil, transmission fluid, diff oil, brake fluid, coolant, oil filter, transmission filter, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs. Anything that's replaceable basically gets done at 100k.

100k and 200k are the major service intervals for the car apart from the normal minor services in between
