Photohopped brumby! This is what I'd like my diesel-electric brumby to look like eventually. Mirrors have been removed (replaced with cameras) and an aero torno cover on the back to improve the CoD, 5-stud conversion with outback wheels, a bit of a lift and outback-style paint and plastic lower fairings too.
Not that I'll be able to afford all that!
I used someone else's photo (can't remember exactly who, though) hope they don't mind!

That could be a good idea. But I need somewhere to put the genset later on, and the former engine bay will be full of batteries and assorted bits. So I'll need somewhere outside the cabin to put it, hopefully I can use the regular fuel tank (or something in it's location) as well.

Looks pretty clean, but you've not done the interior through the windows. So it still has a rear right window. My first draft of the Forester ute was like this, but went over and patched it up.Suparoo wrote:Gen3 Outback Ute

Yeah i never even thought about the interior till somebody else pointed it out.
I did a gen4 lib ute too
It was a bit harder cos of the extra glass and the high gloss sheen in the photo

Drools... wish that was real.... and if it was... I would get a loan and buy it & store it in the garage for a weekender use only!Suparoo wrote:Yeah i never even thought about the interior till somebody else pointed it out.
