Post by BrennyV » Mon Aug 25, 2008 4:45 pm

OK, so Sunday I decided to remove all the aftermarket wiring including the alarm and make it all nice and factory again. but alas no fix for my bizar problems.

-wipers work with no key
-no accessory's
-both thermos are always on
-stereo and ciggy lighter are always on

ideas?

cheers
Brendan

brenny and subafury maybe fans on all the time is a limp mode thing? missing sensor or something.

my lib did this, no T-state temp dropped to cold and fans came on...

not sure mate, atm i need to solve the accessorys and why the ciggy lighter/wipers/dek etc stays on, then i can get more of an idea if this is anything to do with the fans or not.

I had my 91 Lib at the Auto elec last week to sort a bung horn relay. I asked him about the fans coming on all the time. He rang Subaru and they pointed out to him that the fans will come on when ignition is turned on when the climate control / heater / fan etc is also on. (Which is what I guess vincentvega was saying) So try turning all that gear off and see if it does it.

Cheers
