REAL:1 EXISTING AS FACT
2 TRUE,AS DISTINCT FROM APPARENT OR IMAGED
3 NOT ARTIFICAL OR FALSE
4 WHEEL DRIVE, 4WD, or 4x4 ("four by four") is a four-wheeled Vechicle with a drivetrain that allows all four wheels to receive torque from the engine simultaneously.

Nice rides.
The only issue with a lifted l steering is normally caused by the bigger rubber and lack of swaybar if removed. Most of the lifts[2" ,3"or4"] don't actual effect the steering geometry.Maybe thats why they are a unreal 4wd.

LOL, well done Subaman most entertaining - Lightning PLEASE tell me you have a response for this?
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

Sorry mate, I know nothing about trains so I'm not commenting. Next time I see a train though, you can be sure I'll be looking to see how it works.

heh, I bet pretty much zero of the offroading Subarus on here actually do that very often (who here doesn't have an open front diff?) :)

Think Finke. A chassis set up like that with Subaru running gear (motor and drive train) and suspension like on some of the offroad buggies would be bloody awesome.

I love this thread! "Arc up Australia!!!"

Maybe some of the WA boys would like this - I know Jono would love it and I reckon he could knock it up using some old busted CV's and an EA falcon alternator in his sleep :p

Arguement aside, quite frankly I admire his effort and orginality of lift. At least he wouldn't rip out any captive nuts, no matter how hard he'd be going...

Its got me thinking... That I couldn't do this or have the requirement for its use.

Cheers

IF you buy a live axle 4wd. you DO NOT do away with CV joints they still have 2 each diff

Err...no.
Some front live axle applications use uni-joints instead of CV joints.
