brumby fan

Post by mitch » Thu Oct 30, 2008 8:31 pm

hey guys, I got a 90 model brumby for a daily, for when my liberty is off the road!

But the A/C and fans in it suck! I gotta re-gas the A/C, but has anyone upgraded the fans in them? Hot weather is a coming, need some help boys!

Cheers,

Mitch

Hey Mitch,

Are you talking about the blower fan in the cab for your air? Or are you talking about the thermo fan on the radiator?

For the radiator thermo fan the best thing you can do is wire it up to a relay to get the full 12v to the fan - it will go so much harder than it currently does ;)

Cheers

the aircon condensor is probley full of shite mine was and the fan works heaps better since i removed it

no need for aircon in tasmania

blowing the condensor out with an air compressor might help
the heater might have to come out though
