If its electric speedo, such as on gen2 liberty, you can buy jaycar speedo correcter but the catch is that you'll have to solder the kit together, i have that on mine. Before i installed the kit, it'll show 8kph difference since i've fitted outback size tyres.
Cheers

Jaycar doesn't exist over there yet and although the electronics stores I saw over there may not have this you may be able to get someone who knows what their doing to adapt something else or track something down!
And the pedals and other controls are all the same but as mentioned the indicators and wipers are different depending on which country the car is made!
The biggest difference is the turn signals ours are always orange and the parking lights are always run seperately i.e. they dont flash.
But if your curious the pontiac G6,G8 and soon to be pickup as well as some of the cadilac range are all built over here by Holden and shipped to the US and they are all badged as a Holden here including the saturn astra.whereas the ford motor company don't export anything. We also only get half your range of japanese vehicles! but we do get the toyota hilux and landcruiser but the US gets the Tundra instead!
