Check the strut retaining bolts, these may be loose causing the vibration you're experincing.

I can't see how you can have a damaged hub before you damage other components - I have been proven wrong before though...

hey all, turns out the front hubs are out enough to cause the shuddering. so now i get to search for some decent front hubs. Woo:???:
