back wheel on funny lean

Post by kevmif » Sun Dec 07, 2008 12:38 pm

Hi all, the rear l/h wheel on my brumby appears to be on a bit of a lean. Its very noticeable. What can cause this? The lean is basically going the same way as this forward slash >> / << just not as much of an angle. I take it this isn't normal.

I did have the drum off a while back to replace a brake cylinder - have I screwed it up somehow?

The problem is either your suspension bushes are floged out or the rear arm and locator has moved or a cobination of both.

To Qucik fix it jack the rear of the car off the ground and undo the weheel and you will see three bolts forward of the wheel undo them a bit and the arm should fall down slightly. Retighten the bolts and replace wheel and it should be back to sitting straight again. Check your suspension bushed too as they slip to one side and then the rubber destrys itself.
