Why do I only have about an inch of travel? Clutch pedal & cable have been replaced & the problem still exists.
Cheers,
Hayden.
+1 or incorrect model cable installed.Keffa wrote:clutch cable not installed correctly is my only idea.

I fiddled with this assembly (clutch fork) and tightened everything back up again, installed a new clutch, and now everything works as it should. Since I changed the clutch as well I cannot say for sure that it was the clutch fork pivot bolt, but it was mostly likely the cause as the old clutch was not toooooo bad.El_Freddo wrote:I reckon it'll be the clutch fork pivot bolt in the bell housing - if the retaining nut is not properly tightened, it can slowly wiggle its way down the available thread as the clutch is used over time.
