Another Wolf3D Question

Post by secatur » Sat Jan 10, 2009 4:15 pm

Hi,
I have a Subi EA81T (less turbo) in a Zenair701. The motor was originally in a gyrocopter in QLD, and it has a Wolf3dV4 ecu.
I have down loaded the user manual and read it but I don't seem to be able to get things to work the way either the handcontrol or the pc software says it does.
The top display line on start says 100% load,24.43ms always. No matter what I change on the fuel map it reverts to original.
The motor is running way rich ! It will run on the primary facet pump to about 1800rpm, but if I turn on the FI pump it just dies.
Using the internal MAP, and no TPS.
Anyone out there who is knowledgeable to help me through this ???
Thanks,
Steve

I have now also noticed that the MAP pressure (Vac on the hand controller) is indicating 147 kpa at atmospheric (vacuum line off)...should this not be reading 100 kpa ?
Is this adjustable??

There is a set of switches on the ECU, one allows map switching, have you reset it?

Nope.
But there are no switches on the V4 as I understand.
Thanks

Yes sorry thats the V3, I think it is in the configeration mode that you need to find that allows map changing.
