Liberty Air Con

Post by Newsoob » Sat Jan 31, 2009 5:42 pm

Air con in 1992 liberty seems to be intermittant? One minute cool then not. Could it be the extreme temps over last couple days or ?regas needed. Is it normal in extreme weather. Seemed to be working ok days before extreme temps. Any ideas. Thanks

You must of been ****ed in Vic with that 100year heat wave and all. Poor soul.

Could be one, or a series of possiblities. Need to be regassed, its got a leak, one or both seals would have to be replaced. Or the pump has gone to shit. After fixing mine earlier last week. It feels like your in a cool room behind the bar:mrgreen: Get it done before you brains cook in the car, its not good for you health.

It will be your TX valve in the evaporator unit, its a common problem with early ones.

the value could be on its way out or needs re-gassing... get air con mechanic to check it out.
