Anyone know where i can find an Aircooled 4 cylinder VW engine in perth? im hoping for sub $150..

Actually i am making a buggy like Dave's So it has to be running, capacity doesnt really matter, running is good, preferably not using oil

ive dug one up, i got sick of waiting... I picked up a VW superbug for $400, running gear is fine clutch fine gearbox fine, jsut the body has a fair bit of rust, but i dont want it for the body, it is fixable but no point.

Superbug, does that have swingaxle or IRS box?
Will have to get the buggies together for a run when they are all done.

my main problem is i dont have a car trailer.. and i also dont like pulling a trailer on my lib.

Baja bug! Put an EJ in it, lift it, chop the front and back and have a stinger-type exhaust. A fuel injector and spark plug for that flaming effect... ahahaha
Living in Canada now. Looking at all these SVXs for sale...

yea thats what i plan on dave, its got some nice tyres on it too, they are rather meaty 205's :)
