I'd be happy paying up to $100 to somebody wrecking a car to walk away with a complete system (rack, pump, lines) all in very good condition. No doubt you could beat somebody down cheaper than that depending on condition etc.
You'd probably have to pay abit more to a wrecker.

MY Brumby stuff would generally be pretty old and horrible by now. I wrecked one a few yuears ago and it was tossed as I thought no one could possibly want PS or this type anyway.

Question begs , what is needed to have L series PS work on EA81 Brumby then ?

Should all MY steering racks be pretty much the same?

I have found a power steering rack out of a leone that I was considering buying to bolt into the brumby but only if it's a fairly straight forward swap.

Use a L series rack, they are much easier to come across.

There is a MY pump and bracket on ebay at the moment.

Will the L series rack bolt straight in? I already have the pump and bracket on the EA81T that I picked up and i know of a wreckers that has at least one MY rack.

The MY pump and HUMUNGOUS bracket I disposed of (never thought of ebay for disposal!) fitted to the extreme RHS on the head whereas L series fit to an alloy bracket to the middle left on the block. It would be col if the EA81 had same threaded holes forr the L bracket - need to look...
