What do you want mudders for? Planning on a lot of mud runs for your wagon?

There are far better touring tyres out there than mudders

I got these and they have done everything i have asked of them and if i remember right , they were about $140 each. The tyre dealer told me they are the replacement for the wild conqueror super diggers.

I want a tyre that is tough & has an agressive patern. I want them for my Cape Your trip. I don't want to be let down by a crappy tyre.....

I dont think that was aimed at you rick. I think he is saying he wants mudders so they dont let him down on the cape trip.

I really think you want a good quality AT justin. Mud tyres are not more reliable because of the pattern, in fact because the tread is so open they are more prone to punctures. The reason they are perceived as tough is they are usually a tougher construction. If you can find the same thing in an AT though, then you are laughing.

remember - there is a lot of tar between here and mossman.

I didnt believe it to be aimed at me in any way, thanks for letting me know though. The statement i wrote was placed as a question, so i was asking if he thought they were crappy so i know what to expect of the tire i am running . As i have never used them before. They have done all i have asked of them, that dont mean they will keep doing it. That is what i was aiming to find out.

Rick - No i defiantly don't think the FT7 is a crappy tyre. I will be getting a set for normal run around & light off road work.

Dane - True about the AT's. But I want better off road ability for the cape trip rather than a good touring tyre. AT's SUCK in mud.... & there is a hell of a lot of it at the Cape...
