brakes lines for lift kit

hi all
i think it is in the right place for this .
if not can some one put it wear it has to go .
some info please.
can some one tell me how long the front new brake lines need to be if u fit a "4" lift kit to a L series .

as i know that the old ones are not long enough if u fit a lift kit .

Get a pice of wire and bend it to the desired shape and measure the length or you can just add 4in to the old one and get a new line made up with the original fitting positions mantained.

That's if you wanted to extend the metal section...You can also just replace the flexible rubber sections with longer ones instead - just take the old ones into any brake place and ask them to make you up some new ones longer. This is what I did with my wagon.

Note the various people I know who've run a 4" lift kit in an L series have not needed longer brake lines...however I suspect they would not have been clipped properly to the strut. Best practice would definitely indicate get longer ones but I think you can "get away with it" if you wanted to.

i have found a place up hear that can do them in rubber or steel brade for a good price .
