Forester

We've got a 2000 Forester auto which my wife uses daily. Has also done a couple of longer trips.
Been a great car and has never missed a beat. I don't think it's lacking on power at all for what it is and the advantage of cruise control on the longer trips is a god send!
Ours will probably be going on the market some time in the near future as the wife wants to upgrade so depending on where you are in Qld you may want to have a look! We're on the Gold Coast. Email me some time if you're interested. [email protected]
Failing that, good luck with your search. You will not be disappointed in a Forester that's for sure!

I love my 03 XS manual , but its lacking grunt at the top end. But its not a turbo. 1st 2nd and 3rd it absolutely flies.
Selling it as soon as i get an EJ22 up and ruuning in the brumby.

I hate the new foresters, the minister of finance has one for work and i like nothing about it.
first gen GT's and second gen XT's are seriously quick cars with a little bit tinkering.
If you buy one and may be tempted to throw it around try and get some sway bars for it because they are a bit top heavy (gen 2) on the turns. i rally mine along the murray river road eveytime i go up there and it handles like a hatchback.

Buy one...
