SAS Brumby
Over on the USMB there is a Brumby undergoing a conversion to Hilux diffs and coil springs. They've got the axles and steering box mounted now. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/sho ... hp?t=92202

Yep, Mick's Brat is getting bigger again. Gonna be pretty sweet when its done. Makes me want to get on with finding a solid rear axle to go under my little subie.

I love all that sub frame bar work under that thing, but I think the mounting points were the rear arms swing off are a bit week.
I think what you have done is a much better idea having a big square tube across the car to mount the arms from.
Rik.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Im now all grown up to an outback with a 2" lift and outback struts, ready to go off road and take on the world.
Yes that tube subframe is amazing, looks very strong indeed. This is giving me more stupid ideas for me wagon....altho I don't think I'm going to need that much re-inforcement with the small tyres I'm using and no big live axels. I will definitely need to do something similar with the proposed transfer case mod to my car.
Awesome what they do over there!
