Leaky windscreen

Not really just make sure that you use the correct urothane and make a bead about 15 cm high in an upside down V and when you put the screen on top of it dont push down too much , you want it to sit about 5 to 7 mm off the body.

mine had rust in it just the same when I bought it 2 years later it was leakign bad and a friend of a friend welded adn fibreglasses it up for me a treat, even painted teh whole roof to match.

If you don't get it replaced the rust will only spread and the water will only get to areas wehre it shouldn't. Fixing it was the best thing I ever did - no more water on the floor and my seat.

If you have insurance that covers for breakages of windscreen you might time that breakage to when you make you appointment with the rust repairer -if you knoW what I mean.

The PB replaced the gooey crap that was sealing in my screen with an aftermarket rubber thing that he guarenteed would not have the problem again.

I am going to go through with fixing rust around my L's windscreen soon. The seal looks stuffed. Is the pricing similar for an aftermarket one for an L? around $200 ? Suba Mike?

Lturbo for a quick fix i use duck tape all around half on the screen half on the paint will not leak it will last for weeks then replace it only cost $2 until you save for panelbeater have a look at pichttp://community.webshots.com/myphotos? ... ity=nnUXUb

Yeah , normal retail would be around the 200 dollar mark for a new windscreen for an L, I would do better though.
