new exhaust on my forester, need help pls??

Post by clarkey » Tue Dec 15, 2009 9:45 am

well it was my 18th on sat and i got a new cannon for my car, hot it fitted yesterday, really good job, but it just does not have the subaru note to it, i was thinking that maybe if i knock the cat out, then maybe it would have that nice note to it, atm it just sounds like a silvia or something.

can anyone help me with knocking me out?? i just need some advice, as i dont know how to do it.

Any help would be great, thanks

Cheers Mike

For gods sake dont just knock the CAT out, thats just stupid and irresponsible.

And it has nothing to do with the note your car makes.

At a guess you have exhaust headers that look somewhat like this....

They are almost equal length and will make a rather boring sound.

If you want the boxer rumble, get yourself a set of these
eBay.com.au - 97-05 Subaru Impreza 2.5L N/A Exhaust Manifold Header

They are UN-equal in length and will make your desired noise.
