Damaged plastic timing belt covers

Post by silversubiowner » Sat Dec 26, 2009 6:28 pm

Broke a timing belt on my 1994 L series (EA 82). When I was taking off the plastic timing covers they cracked (both the front and rear, which is bolted to the engine block) so they now need replacing too. Does anyone have an old set lying around, or bolted to an old EA 82 engine?

Cheers

Gday, I got a ea82 complete engine and auto gearbox for sale? They come free with the timing covers. This engine is great, 150000 on the odometer, no ticking no oil leaks auto is perfect. Make an offer :)

do you really need the covers??
we run the racers without.
just needs a clean after the mud.
if you want to pay freight/postage i could send some over
