newb question Vacuum gauge installation...
I'm installing a vacuum gauge to the car...
and been testing some hoses to where the best vacuum comes out, But none of them seem to be doing the right thing..
When starting the vehicle most of them are not even moving the needle.
and the ones that are it move upwards when hitting the gas pedal.
I must being doing something wrong.. If any1 has a vacuum gauge installed on a 1985 l series(EA81) and could share a photo of where they have the vacuum hose attached would be more then greatful.

Yes, It's stock factory. But after new years. I'm going to be installing....
body-lift kit, Bull-bar, Spotties, UHF radio, roof racks and 14inch rims....
Maybe even a snorkel, cannon and rear disc brakes....

There is a vac line that goes up to a white canister behind the drivers side strut tower. Get a T and join into the line between the engine and this little white canister

Bingo!
There will be a line that runs from the intake manifold, to this canister (i believe there is already a T there that goes to the 'idle up solenoid' for the Air Con)
Put a T next to it and run your gauge from that
