Which springs for L Series (Lowering)

Post by someguy » Sat Jan 16, 2010 1:13 pm

Hi All.

My street L Series currently has the stock suspension and I would like to lower it.

I currently have 13" alloys with 185/70R13 Tyres so I still need to have enough clearance for them to move around.

My Mechanic is all ready to do the job (don't have the time myself) but he wants to know what springs to get so I thought I would ask for your opinions.

Thanks

(p.s I know you guys are more into lifting than lowering but I will be lifting the MY Wagon when I get it for offroading, this is my road car and am sick of the body roll from the stock suspension)

You could probably just go with a set of kings lowered springs. I actually have a set that i got with a spare set of shocks that came off schultzies car, but i haven't seen them on a car myself (they're sitting in the garage). If you've keeping the 13's and maintaining close to stock rolling diameter of the tyre's then i doubt you'll have a problem with clearance. Schultzie was using 15 x 7" rims and as far as i know had no clearance problems.
