05 forester lift kit.

Hey all, i am getting my 05 forester lifted soon just legal height, 1in springs and tyres and then 2in blocks all round, but a few people have told me that i will be for ever replacing my cv shafts, i was hopeing that someone from here would know if this is correct or not? Please help.

Nah it will be fine. Ask Subarino about how he's done his, I think he has put 2" strut tops on and no problems with CV's, they are quite neutral as standard in a Forester.
L series on the other hand it puts them at too extreme an angle with strut top only, need to put the rest of a full body lift kit in with them.

Yeah the CV angle thing is more of a problem with the MYs and L series... With our GT Forester i put new springs in the rear to help keep it level and just 2 inch strut blocks not the full kit. No problems with CVs or anything yet... i understand lots of people do it. I would not recomend a spring lift with a strut lift but a complete lift with spring lift should be fine in my opinion.
