How to make a Normal Diff to a Locked diff?

Hello guys,
is there any way to convert a normal Rear diff to a shiftable locked diff?
Except welding? because i think this would kill my central diff

I know nothing about air locker diff conversions but sounds like what you are after

ive thought about it and am currently in the proccess of designing and all that jazz about hydrolic lockers ( jeez i cant type today) running of the power steering pump.
apparently you can use the r100 diff from a nissan if im correct and get a locker for that but yeah
