alrighty, sudnay was a fairly busy day.
got the engine, gbox all locked in and towed her home for the first time in ever, since its in the final stages.
just needing some minor bits and pieces like fans(waiting on from ebay), fuel filter, EJ22 accel cable and EJ22 fume box(or waste, not really sure of the name)
anyway now just got to take the front panels off to pass the loom through and get her ticking over.

hey guys, fenders are off now ready for the loom to be passed through. and wow there was some muck in there. so much shit just getting wet and probably rusing the hell out of those sections.
anyway treated it for rust while i had them off and should be fine now.

my main question i have is regarding front wheels after putting the lift kit on. It bugs me everyday i look at it and can't think what it would be. I haven't had an allignment or balance because the car is undriveable but here are some pics and maybe you guys might be able to tell me something.

this is what it looks like looking straight down to the back of the car, on both sides its like this
Image

and this is the strut top on the same side as above pic and i am thinking that maybe the little arrow on the strut top should be pointing towards the engine as i have seen a couple like that??? is it the same with most/all lift kits?
Image

any help is grateful
cheers

Everytime i jack my wheel off the ground it sits like that till i drive it... Don't worry about it unless it stays like that after a drive. It's perfectly normal from what i can tell at this stage.

No keffa, Your lift is in my car, unless you had a 4inch lift too:)

Yeah, Like keffa said, the liftkit arrow, I was told needs to point towards the engine, not the firewall like yours. They should point to each other,

Also what dave says is true that when you jack the car up the car always is higher when you jack it down, it needs a drive to sit back normally.

But i think that left strut top should be rotated 90deg clockwise...

The arrows should be like that on each side :P ---> (Engine) <----
