Workshop Manual for H6 engine

Post by Doinkyman » Sun May 09, 2010 8:20 pm

Hey Guys,

I have just purchased a 2005 Liberty Wagon with the H6 engine. I was wondering if anyone would have access to a workshop that has info on the H6?

Cheers.

THe only manual I've come across is the official Subaru service manual which covers all Liberty and Outback models. What info do you need? Someone around here is sure to know.

Its coming up to 85,000km so I would like to know what is involved in that service and also the big 100,000 service so I can start buying all my bits. The H6 has a timing chain so does anyone know if you remove the timing cover and just inspect the tensioners on the 100,000 service? I think it gets done at 150,000km. Also it would be greatly appreciated if anyone could tell me what consumables to buy genuine and what not and what they run in their Subie.

Cheers.

I've got a manual for the 2006 B9 Tribeca which has a H6 engine if that's of any help to you.
