steering damper subaru brumby
i have 1990 brumby 2" lift, 27"s, 5 speed
any way, the thing is unstoppable, at times late in the afternoon, not holding on as tight the wheel has got away from me.
recently mate troy broke his arm in his brumby, just wanting to make mine safer...
any way can it be done OR BEEN DONE? how can i rig a steering damper on a brumby?
i dont think i have seen it set up on a rack and pinon setup before...
cheers

I found that putting powersteering on the Brumby reduced this dramatically

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

vw and audi had steering dampers on rack and pinion setups in some of the older modles might be worth a look

VERY minimal power loss.. I'm going as far as to say that you wouldn't even know the difference..

yeah you definitely wouldn't notice a power loss. It's not like the drag you feel with an aircon at all.

It's like rear discs. Should be standard fitment.
