Centre Road 15th May:

1 MY coupe - beige, appears to be complete. Electrical windows, auto, twin-headlight grille. Nice pass-side door (one very small dent). Rust in pass-side quarter panel. Has an after-market carb/filter set up (really dirty).
1 MY Brumby - white, missing drivers side door, tailgate, pretty rough all round.
1 Forester (1st gen) - white, big hit in front end, engine condition would be an unknown but didn't look good. First Forester I've seen at a PAP wreckers.
1 Impreza (near the entrance, where the taillights and some wheels can be found) - didn't see anything special.
Handful of L wagons in varying conditions, ditto 1st gen Liberty's.
Little Subaru (not Fiori, the earlier one) at the end of the row.

A number of the Subaru's were packed 2-deep rather than the usual single row - looks like they have picked up quite a few in recent times. I didn't see the Vortex, might be gone finally...

Dean.
1989 Brumby - Shiny new red paint, stroked EJ20 phase 2 SOHC with Darton sleeves bored to EJ22, Wiseco high-compression pistons, Delta 2000 grind cams , EJ/XT6 5 stud with WRX 4/2 pots, 5-speed, 86 GTS seats and so much more.
Contact me for reproduction XT6 hubs...and EA82 rear discs.

N/A. Struts are already gone though interior still looks fine.

2 gen 1 wagons left and a very complete gen 1 sedan with good panel work. 2 gen 2 wagons with quite a bit of panel damage. Good looking MY with nice tires and rims down the end. No vortex but there's a leone with a nice exhaust.

Jolly's 22-5

1 MY sedan - 1983 model (GL), grey interior, auto, full electrics, sunroof. Some rust, front end panels looked ok. Good donor for intermittant wiper switch, etc.
3 L wagons - varying conditions, nothing of note
Didn't look at the newer gen stuff...

For that kind of money, I'd rather go with a complete car from eBay - there's a not-bad looking Touring Wagon with all the fruit in Ballarat on eBay at the moment for $300 (not rego'd but you could drive it home no problem)...or a somewhat rougher GLF coupe with twin carbs in Reservoir for $500...get the bits you want out and you'll still get a couple hundred in scrap metal value at the end...

I second that, that is something i would do too..
Plus you would get your money back if you strip the car out and sell parts out of it.

Pull-a-Part Kilsyth 5th June:

5 L wagons, 1 MPFI (touring wagon) and the rest carby. 1 had a bolt-on front bar (not bumper replacement type).
2 L sedans, 1 MPFI and 1 carby
1 Liberty sedan RS - motor, dash gone.
1 Liberty sedan (1st gen) - complete, about 300k on the clock. Had a factory-look nudge bar
4 Liberty wagons (1st gen) - various condition, all between 280 and 530k on the clock

All are now in the 3rd from end row (with the Mazda's).

At Centre Road wreckers today (17 July).

Lots of L series 1985 - 1989 (5 or six I think) sedans and wagons.

Forester (Gen 1, Series 2). N/A

Libs (Gen 1 series 1 and 2, Gen 2).

One Impreza

One MY Coupe (Auto)

One Brumby.

There is also a Gen 1 Impreza Wagon for sale at the front (Red colour) for $1,200. Not sure about the specs.

Hey guys,

I need to collect atleast two gearboxs + related parts. Prefering to do this all in one day. Anyone able to give me a hand to do it? I was thinking of starting at centre road first, hopefully they'll have the lot. Hoping to do this either this weekend or next. Can cover fuel costs and help to grab any parts you might need too.

Cheers,
Rhys

Rhys, if you want to start at PAP Kilsyth I live about 5 minutes away and am happy to help. I can check there one night after work this week for the parts you need.
