Gannon, did you not get my PM? Your kind offer of your preloved (erk) snuggie was declined. Cheers Jonno
Oi ! Watch it!! ... what you mean 15 deg ??? it was tropical here today mid 20 s. Very nice too, plus sorry to say this but getting gradually warmer - could hit 28 29 this weekend (hopes!)
That there frost is a barstool I can tell you!
Best (and cheapest - Yorkshire man speaking here) way to rid it off ya motor is.......
tepid water NOT BOILING just warm enough to shift the ice away and get the wipers on quick to shift melt away. ( I have to do this all thro winter in the dark)
Lots cheaper than de icer and doesnt smear the screen.
Pour it from a PET bottle or similar then I hurl that back into the garden/yard before screeching away in the car.
Then lots of (getting hotter) air blowing on the screen. Full blast.
Frozen door seals/ locks/windows - very annoying but the tepid water again is the best quick fix.....no use tugging the door and breaking somthing or buggering up a key / lock.
QUESTION..
How do you guys manage with some brumbys with out the choke in the cold?
Its just that I was offered a choke free carby conversion when I bought mine from recarb.
I had sort of imagined that down under you had 365 sunshine / warm weather to enjoy.
