CRAP artist returns....

Post by steptoe » Thu Jul 08, 2010 1:52 pm

Same guy as last time when he claimed his ute of 246,000km was not the 4WD Hilux and made some excuse for it having hubs and front diff - its only 2WD.

This time he is back in mates shop, a new 4/10 WRX with bonnet up for rego inspection and he spots something and claims it is the new Diesel Impreza. Huh? Yeah, injection, common rail, goes to the back to look for a Diesel badge and says yeah there you are AWD, D is for Diesel. Knowingly I pull fuel flap open so he can prove it with the cap or sticker, yeah look it is the bigger Diesel fuel cap he says. Nah, I say look, sticker says USE PREMIUM UNLEADED ONLY. , This dude was pointing out the ABS junction block on extreme RHS of under bonnet, spotted the intercooler....some people won't shut up !!

Did he think the ABS unit was the injector pump?

If he knew anything about common rail injection, he'd know that they dont have a pipe from the injection pump to each cylinder, it has one common pipe.

I hate dealing with people who insist on being correct, even though common sense or even written text proves them wrong, claiming that the book is wrong.

No offence to any school teachers out there, but these people are the worst for it. As an electrician, i do quite a lot of work in schools.
It amazes me when a primary school teacher try's to tell me how i should be running a cable.

Was not his car , a dealer had just sold it, so Diesel fill would not have been appreciated? The crapartist just happened along, looked under open bonnet, and yes saw the ABS block and TMIC. He is dangerous with a little info. He is always right, decided to leave him be with his knowledge this time.

OOOOOHHHHHHH !
I could have had some priceless fun with this comedian

Just wish I had been there - baiting these dorks is my favourite sport:mrgreen:

Boxer Diesel is splattered all across the cover of the new Diesel motor - lie in wait for the next time he appears!

Cheers
Giles.

Just waiting for his father to show up next time, like the previous time, no it was not the " I know my ute is not 4WD incident" it was the time before that ! on the debate on 50% tax deduction for business upgrades - like a new ute (he should have got one) I broke the truth to him in front of his dad in a call to tax office, long calculations to show he could not just walk into dealer to get a ute at half price. His dad loved seeing sonny boy WRONG XX.

My mate has given up on telling him he is wrong - most of the time
