what would a converted L be worth...
Hey guys, was just thinking today about the actual value of my L series but didnt really know where it would be at. i have done the ej conv with lift etc etc
I was comparing whether a stock one in good cond would be as much if not more as a converted one with the fruit.
what are your thoughts on it?
does everyone prefer to do it themselves as well. Not thinking of selling but you never know when the time comes.
any input is cool
thanks

Scott.. to quote a line from the best aussie movie ever.. "What do you think the big ariel, adds a bit of value? Hard to say"
:D:D
My best bet would be to add up what it cost you and chat to your insurance. But as when it comes time to sell, well that's going to be hard as it will be worth only what someone else is prepared to pay for it. You'll never get your money back but as long as you get some good years of fun out of it, then I'd say it's all worth it

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

I advertised my ej20g l-series for 8 and had a couple of offers around the 7.5k mark. Was abit suprised, but wanky wagon had ALOT of stuff hanging off her.

ha ha yeah getting your money back is def a long shot. I think it cost me about 3000-3500 so would be happy with 2-2500ish a guess as you were saying spike. Since you would be able to drive it away no problems.
I guess that is why a lot of the guys part theirs out because the parts hold their value more.
Yeah the fun it provides is worth it. Hoping something doesnt go wrong is half the thrill too i guess. Ha ha
cheers

Mate if you only spent 3000-3500 on it, you should be able to get it all back. I think Subafury sold his for about 4k. And you see some stock L series going for 2000-3000.
Its all in the way you advertise it and you have to be patient for the right buyer
